Dianne B. Snyder Tennis Complex Information Page

The Dianne B. Snyder Tennis Complex was officially opened on November 6th, 2004 in honor of Dianne B. Snyder, who perished on AA Flight 11 on September 11, 2001. Dianne was an avid tennis player and often played on the Westport Middle School's crumbling tennis courts. Since then the Friends of the DBSTC have work hard to raise funds for the final phase of their project... lights for the complex which could not have been completed without the help of electrician Paul Burke.

At dusk on July 7, 2007, the once crumbling tennis courts which had been transformed into four smooth, resurfaced green courts with new nets, were illuminated by eight tall poles brightly lighting up the courts from end to end.
